TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BOOKINGS

For bookings requested within one month, full payment is required immediately.

For bookings longer than one month ahead, 50% deposit is required immediately upon booking, with balance in full required one month prior to arrival.

NOTE: If deposit / payment is not received within 2 days of booking, then the property will not be held for you. We would appreciate you notifying us if you should change your mind prior to paying deposit.

BOND AND CAR REGISTRATION

A security deposit of $500 (Paid by a valid credit card) and Driver’s License and Car registration details are required to secure your booking.

NOTE: Your $500 Security Deposit will be processed (pre-authorised) the day before your arrival and held for 7 days - so please ensure you have sufficient funds available in your CREDIT CARD account.

CHECK OUT TIME AND LATE CHECK OUT FEE

The property will be available for Check In: between 3.00 and 5.00pm and you will need to Check out: Strictly by 10.00 am. *The fee for a late checkout is equivalent to one night’s tariff.

CANCELLATIONS

Bookings within two months of commencement of stay that are cancelled by the intending guest will not receive a refund of monies paid, unless we can replace with a similar booking for the same period at the same tariff. In these circumstances, we will, however, reduce the refund by $100 to cover our non-refundable booking fee.

GUEST NUMBERS

Maximum of eight guests. The ‘primary’ guest is to take responsibility for the booking. We reserve the right to terminate your stay if you exceed the maximum number of people staying at Beilby By The Sea. Under these circumstances no refund will be given.

NO SMOKING

Beilby By The Sea is a ‘smoke free’ zone. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere in the house. Please use external ashtray provided at all times and do not leave butts anywhere.

SECURITY

Security for your possessions while staying at Beilby By The Sea is your responsibility and we shall not be responsible for any losses you may incur.

DAMAGE OR UNLAWFUL BEHAVIOUR

Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only. We reserve the right to terminate your stay if you act in a manner that is unlawful, causes a nuisance to neighbours, or causes wilful damage to the property. In these circumstances no refund will be given and we shall not be responsible for any losses you may incur or difficulty in finding other accommodation. Use contrary to this may result in the loss of your bond and /or additional fees.

PARKING

Parking is restricted to driveway, garage or kerbside only. Strictly NO parking on the lawn or nature strip at any time.

CONDITION OF PROPERTY

We are very proud of Beilby By The Sea and make every endeavour to present it to you in the very best condition possible. We sincerely request that upon vacating, you leave the property in the condition in which you found it, i.e. dishes washed, rubbish put in bins, and any items that may have been moved, to be returned to their original location.

NOTE: If the property is left in an unacceptable condition necessitating additional cleaning, then you agree to cover the cost, and such amount (at the rate of $50 per hour) will be debited to your account.

RUBBISH COLLECTION:

If your stay is midweek then bins must be put out kerbside on Tuesday evenings and returned to their normal location the following day.

NOTE: Bags of rubbish left around the bin will not be collected.

ENTRY TO PROPERTY

Should it be brought to our attention, we reserve the right to enter the property to turn off any lights or appliances that may have inadvertently been left on, or to shut any windows to prevent rain causing possible damage to carpets or furniture if left open.

BREAKAGES

In the event of something breaking, being lost or spilled, please call us immediately. We will not seek reimbursement for breakages of a minor nature, however, in the event of damage or loss occurring to the contents, house or garden that necessitates repair, replacement or additional cleaning, you agree to cover the cost of same, and such amount will be debited to your account.

APPLIANCES

We provide all electrical and gas appliances in good working order and request immediate notification in the event that something ceases to work satisfactorily so that we can attend to the problem as soon as possible whilst you are there.

NOTE: It is too late to report the problem once you return home as we may have other guests arriving immediately after you which would make repair at a later date difficult.

LAUNDRY USE

After using the washing machine or clothes drier it is essential that the lint filters be cleaned after every use in order to prevent damage to the machines.

UTILITIES

If there is an unfortunate interruption to the power, water or gas supply, please notify us immediately and we shall do whatever we can to notify the relevant authority. In these circumstances, as we are not responsible, we shall not offer any discount for any inconvenience.

DOGS

By prior agreement only. If you wish to bring a dog, you are required to seek permission from us firstly and you must adhere to the following conditions:

  • NO dogs in bedrooms or bathrooms.
  • NO dogs on furniture at any time.
  • Dogs must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult and are NEVER EVER to be left alone inside the house or in the garage.

Dogs are encouraged to sleep outside in the kennel provided. However, if your dog is used to sleeping indoors you can house your dog in the downstairs garage area however, you must provide your pet’s own bedding and ensure it is taken out regularly for toileting.

NOTE: Any evidence of dogs on any furniture or bedding, or damage to property will incur cleaning charges or deduction from bond.

VACATING AND KEYS

  • Please ensure all external doors are locked.
  • Exit via side (east) glass door.
  • Return keys to keysafe and spin tumblers to random numbers to lock.

NOTE: Please take care of keys during your stay as loss will incur charges equal to full lock replacements.
